“El Autorretrato en el Documental” (“Self-Portrait in Documentary”), Buenos Aires, Ediciones Universidad del Cine, Colecção Teses e Teoria do Cinema, Catálogos, 2008, 216 pages (revised edition of the MA in Documentary Cinema thesis, defended in December of 2006, in the Universidad del Cine of Buenos Aires, and directed by Prof. Jorge La Ferla).

Theoretical study about contemporary audiovisual self-portrait and its formal strategies, among them archive footage’s appropriation. The book proposes a transversal approach to self-portrait’s history and auto-biographical space, structured by the relation between subjectivity and technology and by other questions related to documentary’s mise en scène, aesthetics and representation.
